Johan Bull (1893 - 1945)

An American painter of Norwegian origin. Born in Oslo, he came from a well-known artistic family. In 1925, he emigrated to the United States, where he worked for The New Yorker and took part in the painting event at the 1932 Summer Olympics art competition. He later settled in Stowe, Vermont, where he combined artistic practice with teaching.
