Louis Oppenheim (1879–1936)
A German graphic designer and poster artist, a leading figure of the Berlin poster style. From 1910 he worked in Berlin, creating iconic advertisements for Reichsbahn, Persil, and other major clients. He also designed modernist typefaces such as Lo-Type and Fanfare , and created the first coin of the Weimar Republic in 1919.
